History
South Shore Security serves a wide range of clients throughout Massachusetts, with its roots originating more than 40 years ago in the communities south of Boston.

Frank Froio, who founded South Shore Security in 1960, was a decorated Korean War Army veteran. His career path included work as an investigator for the City of Boston and Security Director for Boston City Hospital. It was from these experiences that Frank recognized a need for a company that offered the highest level of quality operations in addition to basic uniformed security officer services.

Since its founding in 1960, South Shore Security has met its commitment to continuously grow and expand the depth of its services. Today, the company offers the latest technology and systems available, while remaining one of Massachusetts’ leading providers of trusted, personalized security services.
