Al Starkie Celebrates 1 years as a South
Shore Security Officer!
When it comes to commitment and a strong work ethic, Al Starkie
is the man. This month, Al marks his 18-year anniversary as a South
Shore Security officer. Since 1984, Al has provided sound, dependable
security services to such sites as the Days Inn, The Patriot Ledger
and now, the National Fire Protection Association, where Al works
the third shift. When asked what he enjoys most about working for
South Shore Security, Al talks about the many different people he
meets every day on the job.
Over the years,
Al has earned praise for an impeccable attendance record, keen report
writing skills and a readiness to lend a hand any time, day or night.
Al is very active in the communities where he lives and works. He
is a contributing member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in East
Weymouth and volunteers for both South Shore Elderly and Father
Bill's Place. Prior to working with South Shore Security, he also
worked as head custodian for Weymouth Public Schools. Al's hobbies
reflect a passion for variety; he is a beekeeper, an auto mechanic,
a carpenter and entrepreneur. His many interests and zest for learning
make him an ideal security officer: adaptable, energetic and always
on the go.
Al lives in
Weymouth with his wife, Emily. They have three daughters: Linda,
Bonnie and Kerry. Congratulations to Al Starkie on his 18th anniversary
with South Shore Security.
