Paul Roach has
served as a security officer for South Shore Security since 1998,
working at such client sites as The Patriot Ledger and the National
Fire Protection Association. Currently, Paul works second shift
at NSTAR's Westwood, Mass. headquarters. There, he handles a variety
of duties, including performing access control, conducting site
tours for guests and responding to a host of everyday emergency
situations.
Paul's helpful
nature and willingness to go the extra mile while on duty has won
him praise on the job. Recently, when an NSTAR employee lost her
keys, he took the time to search the entire facility to ensure that
they weren't misplaced somewhere in the building. South Shore Security
supervisors make note of Paul's "complete professionalism when
placed on special assignments."
Paul has been
interested in security and law enforcement since he was a child.
Growing up, he observed the law in action, when his grandfather
was a judge in Quincy, Mass. Today, he enjoys ensuring the safety
of both the NSTAR property and the people that work and visit there.
A resident of
Hanover, Paul graduated from UMASS Boston with both a B.A. and an
M.A. in English. When he's not working, he makes time for some of
his favorite hobbies: weightlifting, playing basketball, reading
and writing. Kudos to Paul Roach for being an exemplary security
professional and a valued member of the South Shore Security team!
