South Shore Security's training program is among the most comprehensive in the industry and is instrumental in employing only the most qualified security professionals. The training process was developed in 1972 and is updated annually in an effort to remain current in the ever-changing world of security services.

Employee Orientation
South Shore Security teaches candidates about policies and procedures found in our company handbook, as well as the rules, regulations and requirements for employment.

Classroom Training
We cover the basic requirements necessary for customer service at any assigned site. Here, candidates learn how to deal with a diverse public, emergency preparedness and response, patrol procedures and report writing.

On-site Training
South Shore Security responds to each client's individual needs by conducting in-depth training, with the security officer, of all requirements and protocol at the particular facility to which they have been assigned.

At South Shore Security, we test our staff at each level of the training process to ensure understanding of the curriculum. In-service training refresher courses are also offered on an ongoing basis so employee knowledge is constantly fresh and expanding.
